Daily maintenance
1. Clean the work area: Before and after each use of the mixer, clean the equipment and the surrounding work area. Remove dust, material residues and other impurities on the surface of the equipment in time to prevent them from entering the mixer and affecting the mixing effect or causing equipment failure. For parts where residual materials are easy to remain, such as the feed port, discharge port, stirring blades, etc., focus on cleaning, and use brooms, rags and other tools to sweep and wipe.
2. Check the appearance of the equipment: Check whether the outer shell, container, pipeline and other parts of the mixer are deformed, cracked, worn and damaged. If obvious damage is found on the appearance of the equipment, the cause should be recorded and analyzed in time, and appropriate repair or replacement measures should be taken to prevent the problem from further deteriorating and affecting the normal use and safety of the equipment.
3. Tighten the connectors: Check whether the connecting bolts, nuts and other connectors between the various parts of the mixer are loose. Since the equipment will vibrate during operation, which may cause the connectors to loosen, it is necessary to tighten them regularly with tools such as wrenches to ensure that the various parts of the equipment are firmly connected to avoid noise, leakage and other problems caused by looseness, and even cause equipment failure.
Regular maintenance
1. Check the mixing system:
Mixing blades: Check the wear of the mixing blades regularly. The wear of the blades will affect the mixing effect and mixing uniformity. If the blades are severely worn, deformed, cracked, or significantly thinned, the blades should be replaced in time to ensure the mixing effect. At the same time, check whether the blades are firmly installed, whether they are loose or offset, and if there are any problems, they need to be adjusted and tightened in time.
Mixing shaft: Check the straightness, surface roughness and shaft seal of the mixing shaft. Bending or surface wear of the mixing shaft will lead to uneven mixing and increased vibration of the equipment. If there is a problem with the mixing shaft, it should be repaired or replaced in time. The good condition of the shaft seal is crucial to prevent material leakage. If there is leakage, the shaft seal parts should be replaced in time.
2. Clean and replace the filter: The mixer is usually equipped with an air filter or a material filter to filter impurities in the air or material entering the equipment. Clean or replace the filter regularly to ensure its filtering effect. When cleaning, you can use compressed air to blow away the dust on the surface of the filter, or rinse it with clean water and dry it; if the filter is severely damaged or clogged and its performance cannot be restored by cleaning, you need to replace it with a new filter.
3. Lubricating parts:
Bearings: Bearings are one of the key components of the mixer. Regular lubrication of bearings can reduce the friction coefficient, reduce wear, and extend the life of the bearings. According to the instruction manual of the equipment, select the appropriate lubricant and lubricate the bearings at the prescribed time intervals and dosages. When adding lubricant, make sure that the grease is evenly distributed in the bearing to avoid too much or too little grease.
Reducer: The reducer plays an important role in the transmission system of the mixer and also requires regular lubrication and maintenance. Check the lubricating oil level and oil quality in the reducer. If the oil level is too low, the lubricating oil should be replenished in time; if the oil quality deteriorates, discoloration, turbidity or odor occurs, new lubricating oil should be replaced. At the same time, ensure that the reducer is well sealed to prevent lubricating oil leakage.
4. Check the electrical system:
Wires and cables: Check whether the wires and cables of the mixer are damaged, aged, short-circuited, etc., especially the wires connected to the motor, controller, etc., to ensure that they are firmly connected and well insulated. If the wires and cables are damaged, they should be replaced in time to avoid electrical accidents.
Electrical components: Check the electrical components such as motors, contactors, relays, switches, etc. to see if they are working properly and whether there are abnormal phenomena such as overheating, odor, noise, etc. Clean the dust on the surface of the electrical components regularly to ensure good heat dissipation; for aging or damaged electrical components, replace them in time to ensure the reliability of the electrical system.
Long-term outage maintenance
1. Empty the material and clean: If the mixer needs to be out of service for a long time, first empty all the materials in the equipment and clean it thoroughly. You can use clean water or appropriate cleaning agent to rinse the inside of the mixer, then wipe it dry with a clean cloth or blow it dry with compressed air to prevent residual moisture inside the equipment from causing rust or corrosion.
2. Apply protective oil: Apply an appropriate amount of protective oil, such as anti-rust oil, grease, etc., on the metal surface of the mixer to prevent the equipment from rusting. For parts that are prone to rust, such as stirring blades, shafts, and the inner wall of the container, it is important to apply protective oil to ensure that a protective film is formed on the surface to isolate air and moisture.
3. Regularly turn the mixer: During long-term disuse, the mixer should be turned every once in a while (such as one month), and the stirring shaft should be manually turned several times to prevent the stirring shaft from bending and deforming due to long-term static state. It is also beneficial to maintain the flexibility of components such as bearings.
4. Moisture and dustproof: Store the mixer in a dry and well-ventilated indoor environment, and cover the equipment with a dust cover to prevent dust, debris, etc. from entering the equipment. If the storage environment is humid, some desiccant can be placed around the equipment to absorb moisture in the air and keep the equipment dry.
