I. Pre-operation Preparation
Equipment Inspection: Confirm that the ribbon, mixing shaft, bearings, and other components are undamaged and securely fastened, and that the electrical system is functioning correctly.
Material Preparation: Weigh the materials according to the specified proportions, avoiding overloading (recommended loading capacity is 60%-80%).
Environmental Safety: Ensure good ventilation, absence of flammable or explosive materials, and placement of warning signs in the operating area.
II. Startup and Operation
Empty Load Test Run: Start at a low speed (recommended 20-40 r/min), observe whether the equipment runs smoothly, without abnormal vibration or noise.
Gradual Feeding: After the equipment stabilizes, slowly add the materials, avoiding splashing or clogging.
Parameter Settings: Adjust the rotation speed (e.g., reduce speed for viscous materials) and mixing time (usually 5-15 minutes) according to the material characteristics.
III. Mixing Process Monitoring
Uniformity Check: Observe the mixing effect by sampling, and adjust the time or speed if necessary.
Temperature Control: If heating is required (e.g., for chemical materials), set the upper limit through the temperature control system (e.g., 80℃) to avoid overheating.
IV. Shutdown and Maintenance
Discharging: Turn off the mixing shaft, and quickly discharge the material through the bottom pneumatic/electric valve. The residual rate should be less than 0.5%.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Promptly clean residual materials from the inside of the drum, check the gap between the ribbon and the drum wall (usually 5-10mm), and lubricate the bearings regularly.
V. Safety Precautions
Protective Equipment: Operators must wear safety helmets, safety glasses, and gloves.
Emergency Shutdown: Familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency stop button and immediately cut off the power in case of abnormality.
Common Troubleshooting
Uneven Mixing: Check for ribbon wear or whether the rotation speed matches the material characteristics.
Powder Leakage: Replace the rotating shaft seal or adjust the gap.
