I. Assessment of Key Component Wear
1. Drive System Inspection
Chains/Belts: Deformed chain links, worn chain pins, or belt cracks require replacement.
Bearings and Gears: Vibration values exceeding the standard (e.g., >4.5 mm/s) or temperature rise exceeding 40℃ above ambient temperature require replacement.
2. Ribbon and Cylinder
If the gap between the ribbon and the cylinder wall exceeds the design value (usually 5-10mm) or the blade wear exceeds 30%, repair or replacement is necessary.
Cylinder deformation or liner wear causing material leakage requires a complete overhaul.
II. Performance Degradation Indicators
1. Decreased Mixing Efficiency
If the mixing uniformity (RSD) > 5% or the mixing time per batch increases by more than 50%, the ribbon or drive system needs to be checked.
2. Abnormal Operating Conditions
If the no-load current exceeds the rated value by 10% or high-frequency harmonics appear in the load vibration spectrum, it indicates mechanical imbalance.
III. Recommended Overhaul Cycle
Routine Maintenance: Lubricate key components every 500 hours, and conduct a comprehensive inspection annually.
Mandatory Overhaul: After 3 years of continuous operation or when the cumulative failure rate > 15%, systematic replacement of worn parts (such as bearings and seals) is required.
IV. Professional Inspection Tools
Laser Rangefinder: Accurately measure the ribbon gap.
Vibration Analyzer: Diagnose the condition of bearings and gearboxes.
